System Center 2012 R2 Operations Manager 관리 서버를 모두 설치했다면 모니터를 위해 관제 대상에 Agent를 설치할 차례입니다.

그전에 반드시 확인해야 할 내용은 System Center 2012 R2 Opearions Manager의 Agent의 요구사항 및 호환성을 확인해야 합니다.

[Windows-based computers]

요구사항을 확인한 후에는 Agent를 설치할 차례인데 System Center 2012 R2 Operations Manager는 Agent를 설치하는 방법이 크게 세가지 방법으로 나누어져 있습니다.

▶ Push install: 검색을 통해 검색된 대상에 Agent를 밀어넣어 설치하는 방법으로 Windows, Linux, Unix를 실행하는 관제 대상에 동작할 수 있습니다. (이 경우 Firewall Port Open과 설치할 서버의 관리자 권한의 계정이 필요합니다)

▶ 설치 미디어: System Center 2012 R2 설치 미디어에서 설치 마법사를 실행하 고 Windows를 실행하는 컴퓨터에 직접 에이전트를 설치할 수 있습니다.

이번에는 Operations Manager Console을 설치할 차례입니다.

요구사항은 다음과 같습니다.

- Report Viewer 2012

- Report Viewer 2012 설치를 위해 필요한 Microsoft System CLR Types for SQL Server 2012

- 512MB 이상의 디스크 공간

- NTFS File System

- x64 Server(Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 이상) 또는 x86, x64 Client (Client 운영체제의 경우 Windows 7 이상)

- Windows Installer 3.1 이상

- Windows Powershell

- .NET Framework 4

요구사항을 모두 확인하였다면 다음과 같은 순서로 Operations Manager Console을 설치할 수 있습니다.

[SQL Server 2012용 Microsoft System CLR Types]

1. SQL Server 2012용 Microsoft System CLR Types를 다운로드 받은 후 설치를 시작합니다.

2. SQL Server 2012용 Microsoft System CLR Types 설치 창에서 다음(N) 버튼을 클릭합니다. 

3. 사용권 계약 창에서 '동의함(A)'를 선택한 후 다음(N) 버튼을 클릭합니다. 

4. 프로그램 설치 준비 완료 창에서 설치(I) 버튼을 클릭합니다. 

5. 설치 창을 통해 설치가 진행된 후 설치가 완료되면 마침(F) 버튼을 클릭하여 설치를 완료합니다. 

[Microsoft Report Viewer 2012 런타임]

1. Microsoft Report Viewer 2012 Runtime을 다운로드 받아 설치를 시작합니다.

2. Microsoft Report Viewer 2012 런타임 설치 마법사 창에서 다음(N) 버튼을 클릭합니다.

3. 사용권 계약 창에서 '동의함(A)'를 선택한 후 다음(N) 버튼을 클릭합니다.

4. 프로그램 설치 준비 완료 창에서 설치(I) 버튼을 클릭합니다. 

5. 설치 창을 통해 설치가 진행되어 설치가 완료되면 마침(F) 버튼을 클릭하여 설치를 완료합니다. 

[System Center 2012 R2 Operations Manager Console]

1. System Center 2012 R2 Operations Manager 설치 창에서 '설치(I)' 버튼을 클릭합니다.

2. 시작의 설치할 기능 선택 화면에서 '운영 콘솔(C)'를 체크하고 다음(N) 버튼을 클릭합니다. 

3. 시작의 설치 위치 선택 창에서 '다음(N)' 버튼을 클릭합니다.

4. 필수 구성 요소의 설치 진행 창에서 모든 필수 구성 요소가 통과되면 '다음(N)' 버튼을 클릭합니다.

5. 구성의 사용 조건을 읽어 주십시오 창에서 '사용 조건을 읽었고 이해했으며 이에 동의합니다(H).'를 선택한 후 '다음(N)' 버튼을 클릭합니다. 

6. 구성의 Operations Manager 개선 지원 창에서 사용자 환경 개선 프로그램과 오류 보고에 참여 여부를 선택한 후 '다음(N)' 버튼을 클릭합니다.

(보통 참여하시나요? 전 보통 다 아니요를....) 

7. 구성의 Microsoft 업데이트 설정을 선택한 후 '다음(N)' 버튼을 클릭합니다.

(보통 서버는 수동으로...) 

8. 구성의 설치 요약 창에서 설치될 위치가 지정한 경로가 맞는지 확인한 후 '설치(I)' 버튼을 클릭합니다. 

9. 처리 중의 설치 진행률 창에서 설치가 진행되어 설치가 완료되면 '닫기(C)' 버튼을 클릭하여 설치를 완료합니다.

고객사에서 System Center 2012 R2 Configuration Manager의 Compliance Setting을 위해 Microsoft Security Compliance Manager를 구성하는 중 다음과 같이 물리 메모리가 부족하다는 에러 메시지가 발생하였습니다.

(물론 실제로 여유 메모리는 아~~주 많은 상태인데..)

어떤 문제로 발생되는 현상인지 확인해보니 실제 물리 메모리가 64GB인 머신에 Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard로 OS를 설치해서 32GB 메모리가 하드웨어 예약으로 잡히며 발생되는 현상인 듯합니다.

메모리를 32GB로 변경해준 후에는 정상적으로 설치되는 것을 확인하였습니다.
